Peanut Butter and Tool Belts

This is the face I turned to see when Dakota began yelling-“Oh No Mommy! Dalton making a mess!”.  During Dalton’s nap I gave Dakota half an apple, cheerios and some peanut butter for a snack. She ate all her apple but a lot of peanut butter was left along with the cheerios. I had allowed myself to be distracted reading my favorite blog Snarky Mommy and hadn’t picked up the plate. Dalton had finished eating all the cheerios and managed to spread the peanut butter all over his face by the time Dakota alerted me to his snacking. He was a happy little guy pigging out on the stuff. I was planning to wait till he was at least a year old before introducing any nuts but I guess he didn’t have that in mind when he attacked his sister’s plate. Luckily it seems that just like his sister and mommy he is food allergy free!

It just must be my day for funny kids because right after Dalton was cleaned up Dakota started “getting ready” to go to work with daddy. She has stuffed her waistline in her underwear with markers, blocks and even my camera. She is walking around telling me “I’m ready to go work with Daddy”. I finally got a picture but she had lost half her tools from her makeshift “tool belt”.
